Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, the animal health division of Boehringer Ingelheim was started in the 1950s, and established an UK presence in 1980, initially focussing on equine (horse) respiratory disease. Since then, we have expanded to be the 9th largest veterinary pharmaceutical company in the UK, and the fastest growing (with turnover growth of 17% in the year 2002).
Vetmedica promotes a wide range of therapeutic and preventative medicines, for pets and farm animals, all of which are only available through veterinary surgeons.
