FAQ

How do I inject an oil-based vaccine?

Depot vaccines contain a high proportion of biodegradable oils: approximately 65%. Therefore, like oil used for cooking, when you take the vaccine out of the refrigerator it is viscous. A vaccine containing sustained-release adjuvants should be warmed to room temperature prior to use, either by immersing it in warm water or standing at room temperature overnight. The vaccine must not be overheated (max. 37°C). The one-shot vaccine is easily injected through an 18g needle.
